Job Summary:
The Azure and M365 Administrator manages and supports Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 environments. This role involves various technical tasks, including user provisioning, identity and access management, application deployment, and troubleshooting. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of cloud technologies, Active Directory, and networking concepts.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Azure Administration:
- Manage Azure subscriptions, resource groups, and virtual machines
- Configure and maintain Azure Active Directory (Azure AD)
- Deploy and manage Azure applications and services
- Monitor and optimize Azure resources
- M365 Administration:
- Manage user accounts, licenses, and groups in Microsoft 365
- Configure and troubleshoot Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, and Exchange Online
- Deploy and manage Microsoft 365 applications
- Monitor and optimize Microsoft 365 services
- Identity and Access Management:
- Manage user identities and access controls in Azure AD and Microsoft 365
- Implement and enforce security policies
- Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments
- Troubleshooting:
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to Azure and M365
- Provide technical support to end-users
- Documentation:
- Create and maintain documentation for Azure and M365 environments
Additional Responsibilities:
- Stay current with the latest Azure and M365 technologies and trends
- Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours support
- Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure smooth operations
Qualifications:
- Experience: 2+ years of experience in Azure and M365 administration
- Certifications: CompTIA Security+; Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate, Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals, Microsoft 365 Certified: Modern Workplace Administrator Associate
- Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of Azure, Azure AD, Microsoft 365, Active Directory, PowerShell, and networking concepts
- Problem-Solving: Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Clearance: Active Secret Security Clearance or higher is required.
Skills and Abilities:
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Azure and remote access tools, with the ability to troubleshoot issues independently.
- Communication: Strong interpersonal skills, effectively communicating with diverse customers, including foreign nationals and high-ranking military personnel.
- Problem-solving: Ability to handle common issues using written, oral, or diagram instructions and to make decisions under time constraints.
- Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Work Environment:
- In an office setting, with occasional exposure to loud noises, hearing protection is recommended where necessary.
- Hybrid (some telework).
Travel:
- Occasional travel for Training may be required.
Salary: $70K -$85K
