Position/Title: Human Resources Manager

Reports To: Vice President of Human Resources
FLSA: Exempt
Hybrid Position: 4 days in the office, 1 day remote work (subject to change)
Position Summary: Responsible for assisting the VP of HR in overseeing all aspect of organization’s Human Resources functions. Including day-to-day HR activities, employee relations, and benefits administration. Responsible for driving HR Corporate initiatives, including annual compliance and training. Assists employees with benefits issues or questions. Develops and schedules benefits orientations and other benefits training. Administers the 401(k) plan and completes yearly compliance reporting. Administers FMLA and disability claims. Supports employee morale and growth.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Administers employee orientation, development, and training. Lifecycle of employee- onboarding and offboarding
- Maintains Employee Personnel Files;
- Works closely with Finance Department to reconcile and audit monthly benefit invoices
- Assist employees with disability claims, tracking benefit payments and leave.
- Policy development and documentation;
- Company-wide employee communication;
- Benefits administration;
- Works directly with Site Managers and Site Admin to implement employee safety, welfare, wellness and health;
- Assists VP of HR with company-wide performance management and HRIS systems.
- Leads employment and compliance of regulatory concerns and reporting – EEOC, FLSA;
- Provide site managers with support on recruiting and staffing needs, as needed
The HR Manager coordinates implementation of services, policies, and programs through on-site managers; reports to the VP of HR, and assists and advises company managers about Human Resources issues and policies.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- At least 6 years of experience in Human Resources, performing onboarding/offboarding and benefits.
- Knowledge of employment laws and regulations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong leadership and decision-making abilities, but can also work collaboratively
- Proficiency in HR management systems and technology
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to build relationships and manage conflict effectively
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Good communication, planning and organizational skills
- Takes initiatives and works well independently
- Customer service/problem-solving skills
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Professional demeaner
- Computer literacy, specifically MS Office applications
- Ability to travel locally and on occasion to different site locations, occasionally out of state
Education/Experience:
- S. or B.A. in related field or equivalent qualification
- Experience in ISO quality systems a plus
- Experience in government contracting environment, a plus.
Compensation: $80,000 – $120,000
