Enterprise Architect

POSITION: Enterprise Architect

LOCATION: Huntsville, AL

SCOPE: Serves as an Enterprise Architect on a major IT services contract for the U.S. Army. Shape and govern the technical evolution of the enterprise by connecting mission outcomes to applications, data, infrastructure, cybersecurity, digital engineering and service-management capabilities across classified and unclassified environments.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop current-state, transition and target-state enterprise architectures.
• Translate mission requirements into roadmaps, standards, reference architectures and decision papers.
• Integrate application, data, network, compute, identity, cyber and platform architectures.
• Apply MBSE/digital engineering to requirements, interfaces, dependencies, data flows and authorization boundaries.
• Support MagicDraw/Cameo, DOORS, Windchill, Teamwork Cloud and Government-approved engineering repositories.
• Lead architecture reviews and trade studies for interoperability, resilience, security, technical debt and lifecycle cost.
• Identify automation, API, RPA/hyper automation, observability and data opportunities.
• Produce executive-ready architecture products, white papers, diagrams and modernization roadmaps.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or related field.
• 10+ years enterprise/solution/systems architecture in complex DoD/federal environments.
• Experience integrating infrastructure, applications, data, cybersecurity and mission requirements.
• Working knowledge of MBSE, SysML, DoDAF/UAF and architecture governance.
• Exceptional executive and technical communication.
• Ability to obtain and maintain required clearance/access.

PREFERRED/HIGHLY DESIRED:

• Master’s degree; TOGAF or INCOSE certification.
• Hands-on MagicDraw/Cameo, DOORS, Windchill or Teamwork Cloud.
• Army acquisition, missile/air-defense, Redstone or weapon-system digital-engineering experience.
• DevSecOps, API/integration, zero-trust and RMF architecture knowledge.

SECURITY CLEARANCE: Active DoD Top Secret Clearance (SCI Eligible)
