Job Description: The Senior IT Systems Solution Architect (Metadata Management/Data Quality) serves as the senior subject matter expert associated with content, processes and procedures associated with ERP systems. Defines the detailed requirements, analyzes the business needs, and validates solutions with the client. Details requirements through the product development and other functions to support the project team. Monitors other business analysts in software development methods and processes and implementation of those methods. Evaluates development projects and assists in tailoring the development process to meet the project needs. Performs detailed job analysis of business processes and provides an interface between traditional logistical support organizations and functional requirement definitions. The Senior IT Systems Solution Architect (Metadata Management/Data Quality) must demonstrate the following:

A Senior IT Systems Solution Architect (Metadata Management/Data Quality) may be called upon to partner with Business Analysts, and/or with customer functional managers when assembling requirements. The candidate should have a working knowledge of the Army’s data and legacy systems, its associated systems, and an understanding of the Army’s concept of Enterprise Data Management and Authoritative sources. The Senior IT Systems Solution Architect (Metadata Management/Data Quality) will assist in logistics support activities centered on data quality support and enterprise data management relative to the Army’s ERP systems, specifically GCSS-Army, LMP, GFEBS, and AESIP. Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

General Responsibilities:

  • Assisting in defining the technical solutions to support identified metrics, as well as monitoring ERP data quality and availability using metrics and audits.
  • Enforcing the business processes implemented for the organization’s enterprise data management and data integration.
  • Performing technical analysis by assessing the areas of impact of data issues from all levels of the enterprise.
  • Assisting in maintaining and sustaining migration efforts and management of future migration requirements.
  • Utilizing qualitative and quantitative techniques in analyzing and measuring the effectiveness and efficiency of the data that will be used in support of business processes.
  • Collecting requirements for the project business, analyzing them and guiding the developmental team in optimizing their work.
  • Evaluating the data collected by project development teams and preparing hardware and software requirement specifications understanding these details.
  • Documenting the projects by preparing functional specification documents and user guides for the reference of the end users.

Specific Responsibilities:

  • Document and implement policies, procedures and controls to ensure the proper creation, validation, storage, and integration of metadata.
  • Document and implement processes and procedures for governing the identification, collection, and use of organizational metadata.
  • Document and implement policies, procedures and controls to maintain the architecture, metadata standards, and user guides.
  • Document and implement policies and procedures to assess the accuracy and validity of metadata.
  • Assess the quality of Metadata documentation through both automated and manual methods.
  • Ensure Army and DoD business terms, business rules, business processes and associated metadata are documented and maintained in the government provided software application.
  • Document and implement appropriate backup and recovery mechanisms to guarantee the recoverability of metadata in any circumstances.
  • Identify and document requirements necessary to extend the metadata management tools for use by other stakeholders.
  • Identify, develop, and provide training and documentation in support of metadata policies, procedures and tools. Assist in rolling out standards and policies to the organization’s team members. Document, assess, and influence business requirements to develop, enable, and advance metadata capabilities to support the organization’s mission.
  • Control and manage datasets in the Army’s metadata repository.
  • Monitor and manage authoritative datasets within government approved metadata repository to ensure quality requirements for mission objectives are maintained.
  • Support the team in managing customer expectations and resolving issues on time.
  • Perform business and technical presentations in relation to metadata and solutions addressing business problems.

Technology:

  • Maintain skill sets in the hardware/software (Information Steward, Vantage, Collibra, Advana, etc.) being used to accomplish customer tasks.
  • Utilize data analysis tools to include SQL, Microsoft Access, and Excel to query data from multiple complex relational databases and other data sources in support of customer data requests.
  • Exhibit a wide range of technical knowledge including database, application development, project management, scheduling, etc.
  • Maintain an awareness of trends that may either positively or negatively affect the customer.

Required Experience:

  • Army logistics background.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills to perform stakeholder management, resolution management, and facilitate Working Groups and IPTs.
  • An understanding and awareness of GCSS-Army/LMP/AESIP/GFEBS interfaces and dependencies.
  • Knowledge and understanding of the Logistics Domain transformation to the ERP-dominated environment.
  • Ability to articulate objectives of enterprise data quality management.

Job Description:

Developer performs detailed analyses of business processes and provides an interface between traditional information technology support organizations and functional requirement definitions. The developer is responsible for developing products within Vantage, Palantir’s Foundry framework, to create applications, configure existing systems and provide user support.

Developers can write functional code with a sharp eye for spotting defects. The overall goal is to work with internal teams to design, develop and maintain software. SCOPE: Serves as a Senior Database Administrator for the Army Test and Evaluation Command (ATEC), Aberdeen Test Center (ATC) Information Systems Directorate (S6) and will build, administer, manage, upgrade and migrate, as necessary, database environments in Oracle and MS SQL technologies.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Perform enterprise database administration and system administration on all designated systems, including MS-SQL, My-SQL Database Management, Oracle, etc. This includes assigned enterprise network and test mission support systems.
  • Manage the storage of data on storage devices and monitor usage of devices using various Government-approved software utilities.
  • Use database management tools to ensure data integrity.

  • Education:

  • Assists VP of HR with company-wide performance management and HRIS systems.
  • Leads employment and compliance of regulatory concerns and reporting – EEOC, FLSA;
  • Provide site managers with support on recruiting and staffing needs, as needed

The HR Manager coordinates implementation of services, policies, and programs through on-site managers; reports to the VP of HR, and assists and advises company managers about Human Resources issues and policies.

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • At least 6 years of experience in Human Resources, performing onboarding/offboarding and benefits.

Compensation: $80,000 – $120,000

POSITION TITLE: Director of IT Solutions (Rockville, MD)

POSITION SUMMARY:

Lead or support Caelum’s IT development and support potential business initiatives in federal agencies that provide for the expansion of Caelum’s IT and related capabilities and revenues.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Works with corporate leadership to develop short- and long-range goals/objectives for IT and related technologies business development.
  • Develop and recommend strategies enhancing the Company’s technological strengths and developing new capabilities.
  • Lead or champion IT initiatives in new business capture and pursue activities; assist multi-discipline and/or cross-functional teams in proposal preparation activities.
  • Monitors company IT performance against corporate initiatives or contract requirements, compliance and maintains customer contact on issues to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Assist managing and reporting activity, pipeline development, and revenue forecasting.
  • Support service offerings to include Enterprise IT, Cybersecurity, Data Management, Cloud Technology, Artificial Intelligence, Application Modernization.

REPORTING/INTERFACE RELATIONSHIPS:

  • Reports to Caelum’s President.
  • Interfaces externally with government personnel, vendors, and partners.
  • Participate in internal BD meetings and interface with other executives, managers and support group members as needed.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  • B.S. in Computer Science, Engineering, Science, or related field is preferred.
  • Advanced study or related professional training and certification are desirable.
  • At least 5 years demonstrated previous successful relevant work and management experience.
  • Knowledge of and experience with the Federal contracting acquisition processes.

COMPENSATION AND OTHER FINANCIAL CONSIDERATIONS AT HIRE:

  • Base salary ranging from $100,000 to $150,000 depending upon background and experience of successful candidate.
  • This position is an incentive-oriented position; in addition to base salary and comprehensive fringe benefits, the successful candidate will be eligible for additional incentive compensation such as bonus or other incentive, which is directly related to work performance.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT:
