Position/Title:            Administrative Assistant

Hybrid Position:        4 days in the office, 1-day remote work (subject to change)

Position Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Administrative Assistant to support operations within a government contracting environment. The ideal candidate will provide essential administrative and clerical support to ensure compliance with federal regulations, contract requirements, and company policies. This role involves front desk supports, managing traveling, maintaining records, handling sensitive documents, and supporting various departments in a fast-paced, deadline-driven setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support to executives, managers, and project teams.
  • Handle correspondence, including emails, phone calls, and official government communications.
  • Order office supplies and oversee inventory management.
  • Assist in procurement, invoicing, and expense tracking related to the office.
  • Manage and coordinate schedules, appointments, and meeting logistics that include travel arrangements.
  • Prepare, review, and maintain government contract-related documentation and reports.
  • Assist with compliance tracking, ensuring adherence to government regulations (e.g., FAR, DFARS).
  • Maintain organized filing systems for contracts, records, and sensitive documents.
  • Support proposal development by formatting documents, compiling data, and ensuring accuracy.
  • Maintain security protocols for handling Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) and other sensitive data.
  • Ensure confidentiality and professionalism when handling sensitive or classified information.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • High school diploma required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Experience in an administrative role, preferably within a government contracting environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Familiarity with government contracting procedures, terminology, and compliance (FAR, DFARS, SAM.gov, etc.) will be a plus.
  • Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to manage confidential information.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Work Environment:

  • Office-based role with standard business hours, may require occasional overtime.
  • May involve interactions with government agencies, contractors, and subcontractors.

Compensation: $45,000-$55,000

Job Summary:

The AWS Cloud Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud infrastructure. This role includes configuring AWS resources, managing security policies, automating deployments, and optimizing cloud performance. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with AWS services, networking, and infrastructure as code (IaC).

Primary Responsibilities:

AWS Administration:

  • Manage AWS resources, including EC2 instances, S3 storage, RDS databases, and VPC networking.
  • Deploy and configure AWS services such as IAM, CloudFormation, and CloudWatch.
  • Optimize AWS cost and performance through monitoring and resource adjustments.

Qualifications:

Experience:

Job Description:

Developer performs detailed analyses of business processes and provides an interface between traditional information technology support organizations and functional requirement definitions. Developers can write functional code with a sharp eye for spotting defects. The overall goal is to work with internal teams to design, develop and maintain software. Job Description: The Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Business Analyst (BA) Associate serves as the subject matter expert associated with content, processes and procedures associated within an ERP system.  Defines the detailed requirements for functional business rules and analysis, analyzes the business needs, and validates anomaly resolutions with the client.  Details requirements through the product development and other functions to support the project team.  Monitors other technical and functional aspects in software development methodology and processes and implementation of those methods.  Performs job analysis of business processes and provides an interface between traditional logistical support organizations and functional requirement definitions. Monitors and supports data migration efforts. An ERP BA Associate must demonstrate the following:

An ERP BA Associate may be called upon to partner with other Business Analysts, and/or with customer functional managers when developing projects or reports. The candidate should have a working knowledge of the Army’s data and legacy systems, its associated systems, and an understanding of the Army’s concept of Enterprise Data Management and Authoritative sources. The ERP BA Associate will assist in logistics support activities centered on data quality support and enterprise data management relative to the Army’s ERP systems, specifically GCSS-Army, LMP, GFEBS, and AESIP. Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

General Responsibilities:

  • Assisting in defining the solutions to support identified metrics, as well as monitoring ERP data quality and availability using metrics and audits.
  • Enforcing the business processes implemented for the organization’s enterprise data management and data integration.
  • Performing analysis by assessing the areas of impact of data issues from all levels of the enterprise.
  • Assisting in maintaining and sustaining migration efforts and management of future migration requirements.
  • Utilizing qualitative and quantitative techniques in analyzing and measuring the effectiveness and efficiency of the data that will be used in support of business processes.
  • Collecting requirements for the project business, analyzing them and guiding the developmental team in optimizing their work.
  • Evaluating the data collected by project development teams and preparing functional rules and understanding these details.
  • Documenting the projects by preparing functional specification documents and user guides for reference of the end users.
  • Developing briefings and reports as requested by the customer.

Specific Responsibilities:

  • Follow policies, procedures and controls to ensure the proper creation, validation, storage, and integration of metadata.
  • Review and assist in documentation and implementation processes and procedures for governing the identification, collection, and use of organizational metadata.
  • Follow policies, procedures and controls to maintain the architecture, metadata standards, and user guides.
  • Review and follow policies and procedures to assess the accuracy and validity of metadata.
  • Assess the quality and timeliness of Metadata documentation through both automated and manual methods.
  • Ensure Army and DoD business terms, business rules, business processes and associated metadata are documented and maintained in the government provided software application.
  • Document and implement appropriate backup and recovery mechanisms to guarantee the recoverability of metadata.
  • Identify and document requirements necessary to extend the metadata management tools for use by other stakeholders.
  • Identify, develop, and provide training and documentation in support of metadata policies, procedures and tools. Assisting in rolling out standards and policies to the organization.
  • Documenting, assessing, and influencing business requirements to develop, enable, and advance metadata capabilities to support the organization’s mission.
  • Control and manage datasets in the Army’s metadata repository.
  • Monitor and manage authoritative datasets within government approved metadata repository to ensure quality requirements for mission objectives are maintained.
  • Support the team in managing customer expectations and resolving issues on time.
  • Perform business and technical presentations in relation to metadata and solutions addressing business problems.

Technology:

  • Maintain skill sets in the hardware/software (Information Steward, Vantage, Collibra, Advana, etc.) being used to accomplish customer tasks.
  • Utilize data analysis tools to include Microsoft Access and Excel to query and analyze data from databases and other data sources in support of customer data requests.
  • Exhibit a range of technical knowledge including database, project management, scheduling, etc.
  • Maintain an awareness of trends that may either positively or negatively affect the customer.
  • Exhibit a range of technical knowledge including database querying, application development, project management, scheduling, etc.

Required Experience:

  • Army logistics background.
  • Communication and presentation skills to perform stakeholder management, resolution management, and facilitate Working Groups and IPTs.
  • An understanding and awareness of GCSS-Army/LMP/AESIP/GFEBS interfaces and dependencies.
  • Knowledge and understanding of the Logistics Domain transformation to the ERP-dominated environment.
  • Ability to articulate objectives of enterprise data quality management.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Mainly works independently, with little supervision from supervisor or higher-graded employee. Conducts on-site collection of reliability, availability, maintainability, logistics supportability, and performance data during developmental and/or operational testing of new military/non-military automotive, electronic, general support or ordnance materiel. Applies extensive knowledge of the operating characteristics of equipment and of maintenance procedures to report critical test data used in the evaluations of such materiel. Acts as the lead data collector when multiple personnel are assigned to collect data on the test program and no higher-graded employee is assigned to the project. Provide technical guidance, assistance, on-the-job-training and closely monitor the work of the assigned lower-graded employees. Monitor work in progress and review and initial completed work generated by lower-graded employees for quality assurance, completeness and accuracy on a daily basis. Performs any or all of the following illustrative tasks for routine projects: visually examines equipment or test items for flaws or defects; observes operation of equipment to detect apparent malfunctions; observes operation of simple test instruments and controls during tests and records related test data; downloads test data from on-board instrumentation; performs specified arithmetic computations; and extracts and compiles specified data including detailed narrative from records or other sources such as specifications and drawings. All work is reviewed by a higher-graded employee for quality assurance, accuracy and completeness on a daily basis.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Must have a GPA of 2.5 or higher in each individual discipline of math and science and a GPA of 3.0 or higher in High School English and/or a GPA of 2.5 or higher in College English from either an accredited high school or university.

Must have 3 years’ experience in performing data collection of military/non-military equipment and associated maintenance concepts (Associate’s Degree or higher in a technical area may substitute for 2 years experience)

Must have 1 year experience using a computer and Microsoft Software or successful completion of 2 recognized computer classes.

UNUSUAL OR SPECIAL PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS OF POSITION:  

May require sitting in front of a computer for extended periods of time (up to 75%). The ability to bend, stoop, squat, crawl, crouch, kneel, reach above shoulder level and climb onto or into a vehicle is required (up to 50%). Walking a minimum of 50 yards over rough terrain is required (up to 25%).

DESCRIPTION OF WORK ENVIRONMENT:

Work environment may be inside or outside depending on the task. The ability to work in outside field conditions that include hot and cold extreme temperatures and other outdoor climatic conditions is required (up to 50%).  Must be able to work in areas where only portable restroom facilities are available (up to 50%).  Work environment may be fast-paced and require work under pressure to meet deadlines associated with the completion of a task.  Must be available to perform job functions at sites other than APG. Travel may be required.

Acquires through formal and informal classroom and on-the-job training a practical knowledge of the characteristics, properties and uses of equipment necessary to carry out the data collection process. Work also requires regular use of typical office equipment such as the personal computer, copiers, and fax machines.

CRITICALITY OF ATTENDANCE:

Attendance is critical at all times during normal duty hours. Work outside of normal duty hours, including weekends and holidays, may be required with as little as one-hour advance notice.

OTHER ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Must be able to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing. Must be able to obtain an interim secret security clearance in order to gain access to required areas, networks and systems within thirty (30) days of date of your offer letter. Job Description:

Provide desktop, software, and peripheral support, release management, password management, and account management for both NIPRNET and SIPRNET customers, including VIP support for command staff, unit control center, and directors; report significant outages and/or customer issues to appropriate Government management personnel.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Deploying IT hardware such as desktop computers, laptops, tablets, monitors and printers, configuring IT hardware to resolve problems
