Primary Responsibilities:

  • Azure Administration:
  • Manage Azure subscriptions, resource groups, and virtual machines
  • Configure and maintain Azure Active Directory (Azure AD)
  • Deploy and manage Azure applications and services
  • Monitor and optimize Azure resources
  • M365 Administration:
  • Manage user accounts, licenses, and groups in Microsoft 365
  • Configure and troubleshoot Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, and Exchange Online
  • Deploy and manage Microsoft 365 applications
  • Monitor and optimize Microsoft 365 services
  • Identity and Access Management:
  • Manage user identities and access controls in Azure AD and Microsoft 365
  • Implement and enforce security policies
  • Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments
  • Troubleshooting:
  • Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to Azure and M365

Qualifications:

  • Experience: 2+ years of experience in Azure and M365 administration
  • Certifications: CompTIA Security+; Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate, Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals, Microsoft 365 Certified: Modern Workplace Administrator Associate
  • Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of Azure, Azure AD, Microsoft 365, Active Directory, PowerShell, and networking concepts
  • Problem-Solving: Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Clearance: Active Secret Security Clearance or higher is required.

Skills and Abilities:

  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Azure and remote access tools, with the ability to troubleshoot issues independently.

Senior Database Administrator

Position: Senior Database Administrator

Location: Rockville, MD

Scope: Serves as the Senior Database Administrator on a major IT services contract for the U.S. Navy.

Responsibilities: The Senior Database Administrator oversees and supports the operational requirements of database systems, ensuring optimal performance, security, and scalability. Responsibilities include the installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of database environments, as well as ensuring data integrity and availability across systems. This role involves managing database servers, monitoring system performance, implementing database upgrades, and creating backups to safeguard critical data.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Administer and maintain database servers, including the design, implementation, and optimization of databases to meet organizational requirements, Microsoft SQL Server.
  • Install and configure database management systems (DBMS), perform software upgrades, and manage user accounts and access controls.
  • Ensure the security and integrity of data through robust practices such as encryption, access restrictions, and the implementation of security tools.

Position: Senior Data Storage Administrator/Cloud Architect

Responsibilities: The Senior Data Storage Admin/Cloud Architect is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining advanced data storage and cloud solutions that align with organizational and Department of Navy (DoN) requirements. In this role, the architect provides comprehensive software engineering services to support the overall network architecture, ensuring seamless operation of data, voice, and video applications. This includes reviewing and analyzing application requirements, offering engineering planning and design assistance, making equipment recommendations, ensuring standards compliance, and supporting installation and testing activities with thorough verification, validation, and documentation.

The Senior Data Storage Admin/Cloud Architect applies systems engineering and configuration management principles to sustain the existing baseline while supporting mission planning and scheduling. They engage directly with customers and contractors, responding to requests for information, facilitating technical meetings, and contributing to enterprise working groups. The architect works independently to gather diverse project requirements—such as cloud solutions, collaboration tools, DevOps, network connectivity, and high-performance computing—transforming them into actionable business and technical plans.

This role also involves identifying and analyzing Department of Navy-authorized cloud offerings, including NR&DE Cloud and DISA Cloud, and providing tailored solutions to address gaps between existing capabilities and departmental needs. The architect establishes detailed Plans of Action and Milestones (POA&Ms) to outline short-, mid-, and long-term strategies for cloud and data storage solutions. They define success criteria for cloud deployments, determine best-fit solutions for transitioning existing products to cloud platforms, and develop roadmaps for multi-year migrations.

The Senior Data Storage Admin/Cloud Architect works closely with network infrastructure and RMF accreditation teams to address deployment challenges and ensure readiness. They align all solutions with DoD/DON IT security and infrastructure requirements, ensuring compliance with organizational policies. By supporting change management processes and documentation, the architect ensures efficient provisioning, management, and sustainment of data storage and cloud solutions.

With expertise in leveraging authorized cloud platforms and a strong understanding of DoD/DON IT security policies, the architect plays a pivotal role in delivering secure, scalable, and innovative solutions to meet mission-critical needs.

Qualifications: Master’s level degree in Computer, Electrical or Electronics Engineering or Mathematics with field of concentration in computer science with 7 years of professional experience using major cloud service provider platforms.

Responsibilities: Program Managers are concerned with the overall planning, direction and success of major programs, systems development efforts, and research or technology initiatives which have great significance to the activity’s and agency’s needs. Program Managers are also responsible for the overall program definition, organization, and direction of short and long range plans. This position involves configuring Outlook Group Distribution Lists and Microsoft Teams, including private channels, to improve collaboration while maintaining stringent security standards. The architect also implements robust Data Loss Prevention (DLP) policies and Information Rights Management (IRM) configurations within Microsoft 365 SharePoint and on-premises environments, ensuring sensitive information is protected and regulatory compliance is achieved.

In addition, the Senior SharePoint Architect creates and manages eDiscovery Centers in Office365 SharePoint Online, enabling advanced search, legal hold, and compliance functionalities. They also develop customized SharePoint solutions, including intranet portals, dashboards, and document management systems, to meet specific business requirements.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Performs advanced systems administration including Active Directory and Domain administration and configuration.
  • Performs optimization, troubleshooting, monitoring, patching, and support of on-premise Windows Server enterprise.
  • Performs optimization, troubleshooting, monitoring, and support of Cloud-based Windows Server enterprise.
