Program Manager

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Caelum Research Corporation is seeking a Program Manager to provide support that encompasses all monitoring, managing and execution of the work performed within this task order. The program staff will serve as the conduit between the agency and the contractor with the responsibility for the cost, schedule, and technical performance of this task order. Program support encompasses creating and managing work plans, timelines, task orders and project plans. Program support includes analysis and review of technical documentation, as well as client needs, and providing recommendations of business improvements. The program manager  manages multiple project plans, documents and a customer satisfaction program to the measure this contract requires.

This is a full-time position working onsite at Fort Lee, VA.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Ensure there are sufficient personnel to perform against this order so that all deliverables are provided at acceptable quality levels with customer satisfaction.
  • Provide project management identifying potential requirements, resource scheduling and tracking.
  • Guarantee there are sufficient certified personnel available and DoD 8570.1-M baseline standards to meet all requirements within this task order.
  • Prepare project schedules based on priorities given by IT management.
  • Direct program activities with all appropriate IT functional proponents.

Caelum Research Corporation is seeking personnel to support the Defense Commissary Agency (DeCA) for Enterprise Application Support using BMC’s suite of IT Service Support Management (ITSSM) tools. The BMC Remedy service desk application and Atrium Discovery and Dependency Mapping (ADDM) software supports the agency’s asset management and change management. ADDM is used to conduct end-to-end discovery of DeCA’s physical, virtual, and application assets. Remedy and ADDM work in tandem to provide service desk management, change management, asset management, and knowledge management throughout day-to-day agency support.  This position is the lead Remedy Administrator providing configuration management, user support, Remedy customization, and overall support of for IT Services Management at DeCA.  The Remedy environment includes 12 servers supporting over 400 direct Remedy users and managing over two million Configuration Items (CI).

This is a full-time position working onsite at Fort Lee, VA.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Deliver high availability (reference performance standards) for BMC resources while ensuring confidentiality and integrity of the environment provided to the business.
  • Conduct end-to-end discovery of DeCA’s physical, virtual, and application assets.
  • Monitor server event changes (Remedy System structured items) and server statistics (peak hours, performance hits, etc.).

Caelum Research Corporation is seeking personnel to support the Defense Commissary Agency (DeCA) for Enterprise Service Desk that serves as the nucleus of DeCA’s IT infrastructure support operations. Information Technology (IT) support originates through the utilization of automated enterprise services call tree and BMC’s Remedy service management suite to provede full service support for all government-owned desktop equipment and desktop software in DeCA’s environment including approximately 6,0000 desktop/laptop computers, 700 network printers, 400 mobile devices and 16,000 users. This work includes all support, maintenance and security compliance of the hardware and software within the desktop infrastructure. Services provided within this task shall provide a secure optimal desktop and mobile environment working in tandem with the network and datacenter infrastructure teams. This task encompasses all; planning, analysis, research and development, integration, testing, implementation, operations and maintenance, information assurance, cybersecurity, and final disposition of all components.

This is a full-time position working onsite at Fort Lee, VA.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead a team that provides service desk support to more than 16,000 users, utilizing approximately 6,000 devices, computers, laptops, wireless devices, PC workstations, printers, and other IT peripherals including mobile devices.
  • Assign and manage work and resources providing 24/7 user support.
  • Perform full service support for all government-owned equipment and software in the Windows environment.
  • Answer all calls routed or transferred to their respective calling queue and ensure that the caller has their issue resolved or logged into a Remedy ticket.

Caelum Research Corporation is seeking personnel to support the Defense Commissary Agency (DeCA) Enterprise Infrastructure, the foundation of DeCA’s integrated Information Technology (IT) solution. The infrastructure, which supports DeCA Data Center services, consists of physical and virtual servers, and extensive storage area network environment including. This position serves as the lead VMware engineer in an environment that consists or 84 Virtual Servers that host 584 VMs.  Infrastructure support includes complete lifecycle support for all hardware, software, to include operating systems, applications, and emerging technologies. Work encompasses planning, analysis, integration, testing, implementation, operations and maintenance, information assurance, cybersecurity, and final disposition of all components.

This is a full-time position working onsite at Fort Lee, VA.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Deliver high availability for all infrastructure resources within the Data Center(s) while ensuring confidentiality and integrity of the environment provided to the business.
  • Provide technical and functional activities required for full integration of all physical server, virtual server, and SAN environments.
  • Perform system analysis to provide functional and engineering requirements for all requested infrastructure deployments.
  • Design, develop, evaluate and integrate fixes/patches and enhancements through all phases of the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
  • Conduct technical reviews to identify application support and technical infrastructure enhancements.
  • Perform analysis, testing and development on emerging IT technologies that benefit to the Infrastructure models.
  • Comply with all applicable Department of Defense (DoD) and DeCA policies and directives on Information Assurance (IA) and Cybersecurity.
  • Ensure tools; Host Based Security System (HBSS), Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS), and Security Content Automation Protocol (SCAP) Compliance Checker (SCC) are used for system security compliance.
  • Oversees a Configuration Management (CM) program that addresses all existing and new enterprise infrastructures.
  • Maintain inventory architecture and baseline inventory documentation.
  • Implement applicable Information Assurance Vulnerability Management (IAVM) controls.
  • Ensure all aspects of Disaster Recovery (DR) are operational and tested.
  • Perform remediation actions for compliance, Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG), and vulnerability scan violations. Develop Plan of Action and Milestone (POAM) as required.
  • Ensure compliance with Risk Management Framework (RMF) requirements. Enter work into Enterprise Mission Assurance Support Service (eMASS).
  • Ensure, maintain and recommend Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) best practices for infrastructure alignment with business needs.
  • Review security logs to include; DeCA’s enterprise log management system and local event logs.

Task Order Project Manager

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Caelum Research Corporation is seeking a Task Order Project Manager to provide support that encompasses all monitoring, managing and execution of the work performed within this task order.

Serves as the project manager for a large, complex task order (or a group of task orders affecting the same system) and shall assist the Program Manager in working with the Government Contracting Officer (KO), the task order-level Task Order Managers, Government management personnel and customer agency representatives. Under the guidance of the Program Manager, responsible for the overall management of the specific task order(s) and ensuring that the technical solutions and schedules in the task order are implemented in a timely manner.

This is a full-time position working off-site in the Fort Belvoir, VA area.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Certifications: Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification, or recognized equivalent certification
  • Experience: Five (5) years relevant experience and 5 years of leadership experience with progressively higher responsibility in the public and/or private sector in the IT and/or consulting fields
  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree, or four (4) additional years of related experience
