Senior Systems Administrator

Job Description: 

We are seeking a highly skilled Systems Administrator to provide comprehensive systems administration, operational support, and problem resolution for our enterprise environments. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in information technology, cybersecurity, and systems maintenance. As a Systems Administrator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the availability, security, and efficiency of our systems. This position requires close collaboration with IT staff, vendors, and subject matter experts to address issues, implement solutions, and maintain a seamless operational environment. 

Responsibilities: 

– Serve as the appointed Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) for all environments, coordinating and performing cybersecurity efforts including scanning, remediation, developing Plan of Action and Milestones (POAMs), and patching. 

– Coordinate certification and accreditation using the RMF process or other DoD-identified processes for the enterprise hardware environments, maintaining required artifacts.

Position Description:

The Computer Technician II supports the OTC mission at Ft. Cavazos, TX by:

  • Technical knowledge of installing, configuring, repairing, and maintaining software, hardware, configurations, and peripherals
  • Isolating equipment/system/software malfunctions and restoring failed equipment to good working order
  • Conducting operational checks and replacing defective parts and assemblies
  • Applying technical knowledge and training to solve routine and complex problems in the maintenance of digital computers, configuration and peripheral components
  • Performing Tier I and Tier 2 deskside incident resolution of workstations, printers and peripheral devices

SCOPE:  Serves as the onsite Program Manager providing leadership and managerial oversight of a major IT support contract for the Missile Defense Agency (MDA), Network Operations Directorate (MDA/ICN).

DESCRIPTION: Serves as the contractor’s primary interface with the Governments Contracting Officer, Government Contracting officer’s Representative (COR), and Government Technical Monitor. Responsible for formulating and enforcing work standards, assigning contractor schedules, reviewing work discrepancies, supervising contractor personnel, and communicating policies, purposes, and goals of the organization to subordinates. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
