POSITION: Application Developer

LOCATION: Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD

SCOPE: Serves as an Application Developer on a major IT support contract for the Army Test and Evaluation Command (ATEC) at the Aberdeen Test Center (ATC).

QUALIFICATIONS:
• Junior Level: Associate Degree in related field and 3 years’ experience; or Bachelor Degree in directly related field and 1 years’ experience; or combination of 5 years’ work and training which may include education/specialized training/certifications and/or experience.
• Mid-Level: Associate Degree in related field and 5 years’ experience; or Bachelor Degree in directly related field and 3 years’ experience; or combination of 7 years’ work and training which may include education/specialized training/certifications and/or experience.
• Experience in developing and/or deploying Web applications.
• Possess industry certifications to meet DOD Directive 8570.01 certification requirements for IAT Level II, such as CompTIA Security+ CE.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Develop applications using SharePoint Online and the Microsoft Power Platform including Power BI, Power Apps, and Power Automate.
• Maintain legacy applications developed using the .NET Framework, ASP.NET Web Forms, C#, VB .NET, JavaScript, and SQL Server. Maintenance includes bug fixes, new features, and security driven modifications.
• Develop new applications using the .NET Framework, ASP.NET MVC, ASP.NET Blazor, .NET Web Services, C#, JavaScript, and SQL Server.
• Work with a team of software testers to support testing to assure quality applications.
• Work with a team of system administrators to deploy and support applications in test, staging and production environments.
• Work with customers and requirements analysts to understand and gather application requirements.
• Provide production support to end users.

DESIRED EXPERIENCE:
• Experience with Fortify Static Code Analysis (SCA) to perform security scans of code, analyze security vulnerability findings and remediate, as necessary.
• Experience as a BI (Business Intelligence) Engineer/Developer with one or more industry standard and emerging BI platforms (PowerBI, Qlik, etc).
• Experience as a DevOps (Development and Operations) Engineer.
• Experience developing, implementing, and managing automated software source control in industry standard platforms such as Jenkins and/or TFS.
• Experience with end state configuration via puppet or chef, and software deployment strategies via docker or Kubernetes.

Cybersecurity Auditor Specialist III

SCOPE: Serve as a Cybersecurity Technical Auditor on a major IT support contract for the Army Test and Evaluation Command (ATEC) at the Aberdeen Test Center (ATC).

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Secure Code Review 
  • Utilize HP Fortify to examine code scan results submitted by developers
  • Identify and verify noted false positives 
  • Provide comments on scan results and vulnerabilities present, recommend POA&M mitigations 
  • Software and Hardware Assessments 
  • Install software on isolated VM and assess software against 800-53 controls and AS&D STIG
  • Utilize Wireshark and Attack surface analyzer to assess software traffic and connections

POSITION DESCRIPTION:

  • Requires experience working in a warehouse or in a logistics or supply related discipline.

The ServiceNow Architect will be responsible for designing and implementing solutions within the Army Research Laboratory (ARL) ServiceNow environment. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with ServiceNow development, integrations, and architecture, as well as a strong understanding of IT service management (ITSM) best practices.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Design and implement solutions within the ARL ServiceNow environment, including Development, Test, and Production servers, Mid-Servers for Discovery, and MariaDB database servers.
  2. Manage current integrations with Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM), Tanium, Tenable, and Lightweight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP) integration with Active Directory.
  3. Implement and support modules including Customer Service Management (CSM), Software Asset Management (SAM), Hardware Asset Management (HAM), and IT Operations Management (ITOM).

PEO MS is an approved Data Center providing hosting to multiple organizations, Cloud Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) and Cloud Platform as a Service (PaaS) throughout the US Army Acquisition community.

DUTIES:

  • PEO MS end user support, ticket response, resolution, and escalation for apps/SP.
  • Respond to inquiries from computer users and assist in resolving IT problems.
  • Diagnose computer hardware and software issues.
  • Respond to telephone calls and utilize the automated service desk to assist customers with computer/software problems.
  • Diagnose the problem and walk the customer through the problem-solving steps.
  • Provide technical guidance in the utilization of computer hardware and software, including installation, operation, and troubleshooting.
  • Be proficient in the software and hardware used by the government.
  • Be able to readily provide guidance and resolve issues.
  • Provide technical assistance support services, including receiving, logging, routing, resolving trouble calls, and follow-up reporting.
  • Operate and provide technical assistance on computer equipment, including desktops, laptops, portable computers, high-speed printers, scanners, plotters, printers, and other specialized computer equipment.
  • Provide reporting that includes metrics, such as number of calls, types of calls, resolution times, trend analysis, and other data that will assist the government in managing the Service Desk and assisting customers.

Education:

2 years’ experience

Technical Certifications:

  • IAT Level II (A+, or Security +, or Network+)

Non-Technical Skills:

  • Good communicator, professional, strong multi-tasker.

IT Project Manager

POSITION:     Project Manager

LOCATION:    Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD

SCOPE:  Serves as the onsite Project Manager providing leadership and managerial oversight of a major IT support contract for the Army Test and Evaluation Command (ATEC) at the Aberdeen Test Center (ATC).  This is a hybrid onsite/telework opportunity.

RESPONSIBILITIES: Working leader providing daily supervision of IT technical staff at the ATC. Responsible for program tasking, scheduling, operational performance, and staff supervision.  Responsible for defining staffing requirements and evaluating and selecting candidates. Schedules and monitors work operations daily, interfaces with customer leadership and actively assists or provides direction to project team as required. Establishes, executes and manages programmatic performance goals and delivers weekly and monthly status reports.  Experience operating in DoD Test and Evaluation environments preferred.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 13 years combined. relevant experience in IT disciplines (e.g. Information Systems, Network or Systems Engineering, Cybersecurity, etc.) or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 5 years of experience leading 20 or more employees
  • Security+ (or equivalent DOD 8570.1 IAT II certification) and (1) Computing Environment certification in relevant field
  • (1) certification in the project management field (e.g., CompTIA Project+ or PMI certification, etc.)

SECURITY CLEARANCE:  Secret, with ability to obtain Top Secret if required.
