Our Section Leads are responsible for leading and managing a small crew to assist and support Army Families in an emotionally stressful time of bereavement, as well as provide training and resources to all Soldiers serving in Casualty Assistance, Notification, or Army Representative capacities, and those dedicated professionals assisting Army Family members in their time of greatest need.

Sections Leads are needed for: Notifications, Initial Case Management, Transitions, and Past Conflict Repatriation Branch functions.

SECURITY ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENT: FAVORABLY SECRET CLEARANCE

EXPERIENCE: 

  • At least one year of experience in the military HR domain, casualty related support desired.
  • Have a solid understanding of military protocol and precedence for the types of services provided.
  • Knowledge of applicable military regulations, policies, and directives for the Army Casualty program

NARRATIVE DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES: Serves as professional customer service specialist and achieves customer satisfaction by delivering casualty administrative support services in a professional, courteous, and timely manner.

Logistics Specialist

Caelum is currently seeking to find qualified applicants for Logistics Specialist position at Virginia Beach, Virginia for a potential future contract supporting the Maritime Expeditionary Security Squadron (MSRON). The Logistics Specialist will provide subject matter expertise to recognize, inventory, and document all aspects of MESG-2 subordinate unit Table of Allowance (TOA) items. Responsibilities are to track, inventory and document MSRON TOA inventory and identify each item by location and report in the NECC Readiness Cost Reporting Program (RCRP).

Duties include:

  • Provide logistician support for each Maritime Expeditionary Security Squadron (MSRON) for the purpose of assisting in the coordination of the MSRON’s execution of logistics management duties associated with the material control of the Table of Allowance (TOA) equipment and mission augment material.
  • Provide the collecting and interpreting of inventory accounting and material readiness data related to MSRON TOA, material, systems and equipment by tracking shortfalls of TOA material, systems and equipment through the assigned NECC databases.
  • Track and provide coordination for the final disposition of “end-of-life”, spent or obsolete TOA material, systems and equipment as designated by the MESG TWO Materiel Officer.
  • Attend meetings to gain familiarization with the material control efforts with the Immediate Senior in Command (ISIC) TOA, Type Commander (TYCOM) TOA manager and other supporting activities as required by the MESG TWO Materiel Officer.
  • Assist the MSRONs in maintaining accurate inventory and material readiness posture in assigned databases. Provide updates to the MSRON XO/CO on N-Codes/departments that are deficient in reporting.
  • Using the assigned Dept. of Navy enterprise data system to collect and interpret inventory accounting and readiness data related to MSRONs TOA material systems and equipment; provide consolidated reports that contain the findings of the database reports to the MESG TWO TOA manager quarterly.
  • Be responsible for the day-to-day management of RCRP and other Navy enterprise data management systems for TOA inventory management. They serve as the technical manager and are the interface between the MESG and the MSRON commodity managers.
  • Be responsible for the administration of RCRP and any future Navy enterprise data management systems for TOA inventory management for the unit and shall have the ability to complete all functions related to their unit and the units subordinate in the chain of command.

Qualifications:

  • Secret Clearance Required.
  • Must have no less than ten (10) years of experience as a Logistics Specialist
  • Military Logistics Specialist experience with TOA is preferred, but not a requirement.
  • Must have experience with Advanced Base Functional Component (ABFC) View, Defense Property Accounting System (DPAS); Organizational Maintenance Management Next Generation (OMMS-NG), Readiness and Cost Reporting Program (RCRP), various SYSCOM APSRs and Microsoft Office

Hours and Travel:

Core hours of service operations shall be 0700-1600 hours (1 hour lunch break), five days a week. To allow for possible emergent requirement, the contractor may be required to work outside of normal business hours. Occasional travel to UAE, Bahrain, Groton, Mayport and Charleston is required.

Summary:
The Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO) provides Information Technology (IT) support to Program Executive Office (PEO) Missile and Space which is a Continental United States (CONUS) organization located at Redstone Arsenal, Alabama. The OCIO provides centralized life cycle management, direction, guidance, and support for the acquisition, sustainment, maintainability, supportability, and implementation of the PEO, Information Mission Area (IMA). PEO Missile and Space is an approved Data Center providing hosting to multiple organizations, Cloud Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) and CloudPlatform as a Service (PaaS) throughout the US Army Acquisition community.
Duties:

• Provide on-site Asset Management Assistance for the PEO Missile & Space for IT-related equipment inventory of nonexpendable, expendable, and durable government equipment down to and including the Sub-Hand Receipt Holder (HRH).
• Assist Asset Manager (Sub-Hand Receipt Holder) to coordinate with the Installation Property Book Office for input into the PEO Missile & Space Property Accountability System for all equipment items valued over the $500 threshold and for other equipment (Durable, Non-Expendable, Sensitive, etc.), if required, by Army Regulations.

A Oracle/SQL ETL Developer supporting Logistics Data Analysis Center (LDAC) will be responsible for compiling processes based on a defined set of design and performance requirements. The developer may be called upon to partner with Business Analysts and/or with customer function managers in the development of requirements. The Developer must ensure that their compiled processes meet or exceed requirements. The candidate should have a working knowledge of the Army’s data and legacy systems, its associated systems, and an understanding of the Army’s concept of Enterprise Data Management.

Duties:
* Create, maintain and modify routine IBM Info Sphere-based processes and their associated, supporting Oracle-based database components.
* Make approved changes by amending program flow charts, developing detailed processing logic, and coding changes.
* Provide technical analysis and development for applications and programs that will integrate national and field logistics and financial data.
* Recommend and document systemic processing additions or changes to improve the usage of the data across the spectrum of databases and processes.
* Should be able to provide technical analysis in the development, programming, testing, and implementation phases utilizing SQL and a relational database on the back-end.
* Should be able to perform technical assessment of the flowcharts, specifications and logic, input/output requirements from business users, reports, and database design logistical processes.
