Audio Visual Specialist

Requirements: Associate’s Degree in a related field OR three years of technically related field experience in providing audiovisual support. InfoComm International Certification in Audiovisual Technology (minimum), or an InfoComm International Certification in Audio Visual Technology Installation (preferred). Description: Perform daily on-site operational and sustainment support for installed classroom audiovisual equipment (hardware, software and ancillary and associated items of equipment to include networking and video teletraining (VTT) for TRADOC Enterprise Classroom Program (ECP) classrooms. Daily on-site operational and sustainment support includes: Maintaining on a daily basis a log of performance tasks, customer requests, and known issues. Information Technology Technician I – Client Support Administrator

Description:

An Information Technology I Client Support Administrator (IT CSA) is responsible for performing tasks which require touching the desktop and other computer systems. Given that this position physically interfaces with the customer, a professional, courteous demeanor is required in all circumstances.

The IT CSA must possess excellent communication skills including verbal, written, and telephone etiquette. Above average ability to interpret, analyze, troubleshoot and resolve technical problems.  Must be decisive, conscientious and interact well in a team environment or training capacity. Has a strong desire to learn and is able to follow policies and procedures. Demonstrates the ability to work well with a minimal amount of supervision. Must have a strong working knowledge of and experience with computer hardware, software and peripheral devices in a diverse environment. Provides a high level of interfacing with co-workers, and communicate effectively with the clients, IT personnel and management.

Customer Service:  Provides direct customer service and technical support to users as required via phone, e-mail, fax, on-line systems and in person.

  • Provides professional and personal assistance to clients in answering inquiries, locating information and analyzing technical requirements

  • Responsibilities include informing users of pertinent network information including planned network downtime

Technology:  An IT CSA’s main technology emphasis must be to:

  • Maintain skill set required to do job
  • Maintain an awareness of trends within the technology industry
  • Install/configure network printing devices
  • Install, configure and maintain network applications and application distribution systems
  • Ensure system security in compliance with customer policy including virus protection
  • Implement and maintain network standards and guidelines
  • Utilize enterprise tools sets such as Cisco Works, Remedy, CA Unicenter Network & Systems Management, Active Directory, etc.
  • Configure and install new PCs, installation of needed peripherals and software, and physical attachment of PC to network.
  • Install and maintain peripheral equipment, such as printers, modems, scanners, etc.

Training:

  • Various network/operating system environments; examples: Unix, Microsoft Windows 7/8/10, Microsoft Exchange, Microsoft Office Suite products; or customer defined application suites.

Cyber Security Subject Matter Specialist

POSITION SCOPE:

Part of a contractor team that provides comprehensive Cyber Security Support for the Army Aviation and Missile Life Cycle Management Command (AMCOM/LCMC). Primary work objectives include Risk Management Framework (RMF) A&A support, including tracking and reporting on system status; program guidance and coordination including support of awareness training; and Security Assessment support. Work location is Redstone Arsenal (Huntsville, Alabama).

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provides senior level cyber security analysis and consultation.
  • Responsible for briefing G-Staff stakeholders.
  • Provides senior Level IAPM support with subject matter expertise of cyber operations and mission analysis in support of the RMF lifecycle.
  • Develops and provides significant input for cyber security policies and procedures and their practical Army/RMF compliant deployment.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum B.S/B.A. in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field, preferably with a specialization in information assurance, cyber security, or forensics.

  • Support government customers in development of RMF submission documents.
  • Less than 10% travel may be required.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Strong understanding of the NIST 800-53 controls and implementation implication.

Release Train Engineer

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Caelum Research Corporation is seeking a Release Train Engineer (RTE) for an IAE/SAM task order requirement for Program Assurance and Governance.

The RTE is a hybrid role that properly balances agile leadership and program management to help software development teams build and deliver solutions more efficiently. This position requires individuals who have previously been successful Scrum Masters and/or Agile Coaches on highly distributed teams, have led Agile/Scrum adoption in the past, and have experience in software delivery as well as those who can effectively drive and influence changes.

This is a full-time position working onsite in Washington, DC.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in relevant discipline
  • SAFe Program Consultant 4 (SPC4) certification (Scaled Agile Framework) as a primary qualification
  • Three (3) years enterprise level experience applying SAFe

  • The RTE ensures mission execution, leads and facilitates teams through development and delivery, guides the transition to and implementation of SAFe, acts as Agile Product Owner Sync and Scrum of Scrum Master, and is an Agile and SAFe facilitator at the Portfolio, Program, and Team levels (Value level, as applied).
  • The RTE facilitates Release, Sprint and Kanban activities, Agile Release Train (ART) execution, and delivery of end-to-end value. The RTE has experience applying the available toolkits for ART enablement, notably since IAE currently uses Atlassian’s Jira and Confluence tools, has experience with such tools.
  • The RTE supports the ART and value stream relentless improvement, addresses Lean-Agile, ART and value stream anti-patterns, and applies RTE coaching essentials and servant leadership.

Project Manager

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Caelum Research Corporation is seeking a Project Manager to provide Program Assurance and Governance support that encompasses all monitoring, managing and execution of the work performed within this IAE/SAM task order. The Project Manager shall be the primary point of contact for the Government and shall be responsible for the management, content, and quality of work performed on this task order. The Project Manager must be available to coordinate with Government representatives daily if required.

The program staff will serve as the conduit between the Government and the contractor with the responsibility for the cost, schedule, and technical performance of this task order. Project support encompasses creating and managing work plans, timelines, task orders and project plans. Project support includes analysis and review of technical documentation, as well as client needs, and providing recommendations of business improvements. The project manager manages multiple project plans, documents and a customer satisfaction program to the measure this contract requires.

This is a full-time position working onsite in Washington, DC.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • The project manager and alternate(s) must be able to communicate clearly (read, write, speak, and understand) in English
  • Bachelor’s Degree in relevant discipline
  • Technical experience managing comparable IT Service Management support services
  • Working knowledge of: Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) process, Enterprise System Architecture, Data Architecture, IT Service Management principals

  • Prepare project schedules based on priorities given by IT management.
  • Direct program activities with all appropriate IT functional proponents.
  • Direct the preparation and delivery of the task order deliverables.
  • Provide the technical and functional resources at the required level for integration of all tasks specified within this PWS.
  • Establish and monitor status of project plans, schedules and milestones.
  • Serve as the contract management POC for day-to-day operational issues.
  • Provide coordination, documentation and tracking of all change management requests covered by this task order.
  • Assign responsibility for and ensure that deliverables are submitted in accordance with the deliverable schedule.
  • Conduct a quarterly Program Management Review (PMR) for IAE/SAM senior IT management.
  • Establish a Quality Control Plan (QCP) enforcing the Quality Assurance Surveillance Plan (QASP).
  • Work tickets IAW the Acceptable Quality Level (AQL) for each performance standard.
  • Produce Deliverable Reports by fully utilizing automated reporting tools appropriated by IAE/SAM.

Caelum Research Corporation is seeking a Front End Architect for an IAE/SAM task order requirement for Program Assurance and Governance.

This is a full-time position working onsite in Washington, DC.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • The Front End Architect must be able to communicate clearly (read, write, speak, and understand) in English
  • Bachelor’s Degree in relevant discipline
  • Strong ability in the front end technologies listed on IAE platform: Angular JS, GitHub, jQuery, etc.
  • Mature technical leadership experience, including successful leadership of technical teams in projects of comparable size and scope.
  • Demonstrated experience across an agile software development lifecycle (SDLC), including assessing, managing, and mitigating risks across the SDLC.
